did you call your local animal control office. I volunteer at one and they get calls daily from owners who have lost their dogs and do not have the time or the inclination to put out flyers. You may find some information over there about a lost dog parent. Buddy looks cute., I think you may get to keep him forever.

I would bet he was dumped, just my guess.

That face looks so sad, like it needs a good home with lots of love.

There are a lot of reasons an older dog gets dumped. Its so sad. I am glad to see he has found a place that cares about him. I love older dogs and if I had the money ,would take all I could and just give them a place to live out the rest of their lives. All they want is a warm soft bed, a few treats and a pet or two and they are happy.

Ad runs tomorrow so hopefully his parents will be looking for it. I also road around my area to see if anyone put up flyers but did not see any. I know if it were my dog I would have flyers on every corner thru out the whole town.
Did you try calling the pound and letting them know, in case the owners call them?
