Nobody said anything serious about hurting them!! And a few of us mentioned the screening which will be the best method for us! Sorry if you thought we would harm them.

Please don't hurt the frogs, they are doing what frogs do. There must be a simple solution that doesn't involve killing yet another innocent creature that happened to get in the way through no fault of their own.

Do you have them in some sort of container while you're deciding what to do? If so, I would put that in the trunk of my car and take them for a ride to a different area. Release them there. No need to do any harm to the critters!

Where are you guys getting the idea that we are not taking care of them!? They are Kermit and Robin to us! The first day Kermit was put in the ditch farther out on the property. Now both of them have been kindly transported to
a neighbors's (1/4 mi away) large farm pond. Hopefully they will just pop in for a visit now and then.

ewww!! Be careful with that. Most raccoons have a type of roundworm that can be deadly to humans and domestic animals. The eggs are shed in their feces and can be accidentally ingested (dog walks on feces, dog walks on carpet, person touches carpet, person eats, etc). Nothing except fire will kill them (not even bleach or ammonia) and they can live years and years in the soil.

Take them a couple miles away to a creek or river and put them there.

I love the story of Kermit and Robin! Hope you can find them a new home and just have them over for holiday visits!

P.S. I have a very large raccoon living in the yard behind my house if you want a friend for them.

I live alone, but I'm NOT going to kiss one of them and hope for a prince!
