Updated you on wonderful family news...
I read the rules and I'm pretty sure it's okay to post this here.
Anyway, Mark and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary. AND my son and his wife of 2.5 years are going to bless us with a first grandchild in May! They don't want to know the gender. They bought a fixer-upper house just 10 minutes away because they want us to be very active in their children's lives. The house will be paid off in 10 years and Jenny can stay home with kids! Happy sigh.
AND our daughter Rachel was accepted into med school; she starts a summer class in June. She is engaged to a first year med student; the wedding is in August, between the last day of her class, and before the White Coat Ceremony! The wedding will be sweet and small--about 35 people invited. We are making most the food and my farrier is going to marry her.
So much excitement here! I wanted to share!

Well--I have at least 6 quilts Jenny can choose from--she can have as many as she wants. Every time I made a crib sized quilt over the years, I asked my girls if they liked it. If they said yes with great enthusiasm, I kept it. :-) NOW she's ready to choose! I make those Talk-About Books now too--so my grandbaby will have at least 4 to start, then as I discover what the baby likes, I'll need to make more. And a new quilt every time the baby grows 6", right? :-)
