    Default upholstery sample projects completed

So, I've posted a couple questions about what do with upholstery samples.
These are a few things I've made so far. My charity quilting groups sells the upholstery sample crafts to raise money for batting and wide backing fabrics.

The second picture is a modification of this one:

The first one is a modification of a sewing pattern I picked up from JoAnns. I'm really bad about not really following directions, most of the time I can't figure out what they are saying so I take the pattern pieces that make sense and do something with those.

I hear you there! I just seem to have to tweak 'my' way. Love all of your projects but especially the organizer basket. Thanks for sharing.

Wonderful job. Would have to guess that anything made with the upholstery fabric would wear better than quilting cottons. They should sell like hotcakes... you're onto something here!

I absolutely loved that fabric. It was nice big pieces. When I saw it I just knew it needed to be fussy cutted to get the birds in the center (as as close to the center) of the bag. I made 3 of those in total with different colors of fabric with birds.

I'm getting pretty good at lining, now I need to work on adding pockets.
