We took some time off work to be at home, (get some quilting done!!!! yay!) and we bbq with our neighbors every year on Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor day... so we're going to be outside, in the sun, cocktails in hand, with lots of yummy food!!

My SIL is visiting. We're going to go to the "Frontier Days" celebrations in LaPine....small event but more fun than a state fair!

I am on-call for work on Saturday and will probably have to work, but have Sunday and Monday off. On Sunday I am going to start painting my quilting room and finish up on Monday what I can't get done on Sunday!

Then I can put my new quilting frame together and get started back on handquilting! :)

Hubby and son both working night shift, will be blissfully home alone. I might run out to see the fireworks, who knows?

FOR the 4th - nothing really. ON the 4th - hopefully we will be ready to put the furniture back into the guest room. (We are finishing the floor at the moment)

I plan on turning in my old flag for a new one; Elliott's Hardware is having a "sale" where if you turn in the old one, you can buy a flag set for $5. They will properly dispose of the old flags.

Lots of bbq and hanging out with friends - complete with fireworks.

I promised myself that since I memorized the Preamble, that I would memorize the first part of the Declaration of Independence.
