    I use fabric for wrapping paper often and use fabric torn into strips for bows.

    Cute idea. I've never wrapped a present in fabric, but I have used my pinking shears and cut long strips of fabric to use as ribbon. I've also cut strips from denim jeans and used that for ribbon also.

    I always wrap gifts to fellow quilters in fabric. I use large safety pins instead of tape. Then I use a a strip of fabric as ribbon. Always makes a hit!
