I bought myself a massage so I can be healthy enough to continue quilting. No, it was a Raindrops session, which is wonderfully relaxing.

41 years of marriage for us - but the same - dinner close to Valentine's. This year we ate, with our 18-year-old granddaughter, at Red Lobster.

This Valentine's Day was by far the strangest we have ever celebrated. Going on 43 years married, and it's the first time we celebrated in a hospital room. DH's artificial hip failed, and he had to have a total revision/replacement. He got hospital gift shop truffles, and I bought myself hospital gift shop earrings. After 8 days in the hospital he's home, with a long recovery ahead of him. Usually it's dinner out, but that will have to wait!

After 56 years of marriage we don't buy for each other. We buy whatever we want or need all year long. Works best that way for us.

We went to dinner on the 15th to avoid the crowds. No flowers or cards..47 years of marriage...hubs bought me a quilt kit I’d wanted from CTthreads. He got a couple of shirts from me.

Hubby got me lots of different valentines/sweets, as I did him. We also got our 3 doggies, dog treats. We fixed up a special treat bag for my son and daughter in law.
