Hi Barbara, The boys say hi back.

I do love being back here. So much to do. I kind of miss the peace we had in Plattsburgh, both being here and able to hop on a subway and be just there is amazing. It was always my mother's dream to be there at the parade and I called her from the museum yesterday and she felt she was there through me.

Next Tuesday is the Rockefeller Center tree lighting, but I will avoid that night. I will bring him Thursday or Friday night. I do have one huge problem. While watching the parade tonight he fell in love with The Rockets. He found their precision fascinating...at least I hope is just that...

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

my thanksgiving will be sunday, when nobody will be working. until then the children's lives are hectic with a late night shift for ethan and work at home for liz the night before. it would take a miracle for them to open their eyes on thursday. they also work saturday. with a new house in brooklyn, they're glad to still have jobs. before they knew they were working, they made other plans for friday. that's the way the mop flops!

Fantastic story. "Thank you for sharing". I'm originally from Lancaster PA Amish Country. Several of us would travel to NYC by train, traveled by tube and subway, walked around NYC always seeing different locations. LOVE NYC. Always imagined working there but "thought" it would be nice if I could travel by helicopeter and avoid the conjestion. The people friendly...but then I'm a talker like your son and would talk as though I knew them". Never in all our yearly visits was it "nothing" but fun.

Your children are lucky to see this in person. We enjoyed the parade on TV. Great day for you and your kids. Thanks for sharing.
