Was on a bus trip once and we stopped to use the rest-rooms. The guys were all done and we were still in line. A brave soul suggested that we put a sister as guard on the men's door and use their room too. That we did and it worked well!

Well, there was no lock on the door (that I could find, anyway), so I thought, I can just get my job done quickly and get out-what are the chances of someone coming in during those few minutes anyway, when there was hardly anyone there. Well, as it happened, it was also the only one there, shared by men and women. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I sat down, a MAN walked in! I screamed "occupied!!" and he made a hasty retreat, apologizing profusely! Unfortunately, the "seat" was at the far end of the little room, too far for me to stick my foot up to block the door! I was REALLY hoping he was gone by the time I left, but NO, he was patiently waiting right outside the door. Needless to say, I was really embarrased!!
Look at the bright side. At least he kept someone else from walking in on you.

What a perfect description of the realities of going to the bathroom alone. This made me really laugh!

I have learned[especially living in Germany for 9 yrs.] To NEVER go into ANY ladies room without toilet tissue or kleanix in my pocket or bra.[Especially with IBS for 30 yrs.] It discuss my when there are always messy seats and I have to clean them before using! Usually my DH is with me so he keeps my purse.
