Hope she does OK. You sure brightened my day! And, yes, it is nice to interact with someone who can respond. I bet you brightened her day, too!

People with such a wonderful understanding of people and their pets, and a very highly developed sense of humor, are a joy. Thanks for sharing this uplifting story.

Love it! My cat always hyperventilates and has to be calmed down when we get to the vet's.

That's what ours suggested, too. Leo, however, LOVES to go to the vet because all the ladies coo & make over it & he loves that... LOL! Last time we took him in for some shots, he laid down by the receptionist's desk & fell asleep... LOL!

Visit went OK 3 other dogs were there for their vaccinations so the facial department was very busy. Celeste loved all the attention, she didn't yelp at all, the vets are lovely, she had her toenails clipped and I had to spend around $70 on special food to clean her teeth. So with the facial and the dental work in a couple of weeks she should look stunning. She does "smile" when we come home so now she will sparkle. Thankyou for your concern.

Your story is so cute ... My dog is going to be 14 this summer and every trip to the vet is traumatic for me! I am always afraid it will be the last time ...

My daughter and I were shopping today and when we were getting back into our car she saw a small dog run by the car - a cute little guy with a jacket, collar and no tags ... we both started to follow him in an attempt to catch him when he turned a corner and hopped into a car ... the lady in the car had her drivers door open and she was trying to reach something on the passenger side floor ... the little dog hopped onto her back and into her backseat ... she asked what it was that had just ran over her ... she was relieved to find out it was a dog ... he just sat in her back seat and she was able to give him to me. My daughter went into the grocery store and had the customer service announce it on the intercom ... his owner came out and he started to whimper ... it turns out the window on his car doesn't always stay up and the little guy jumped out ... it must have happened before ... what an irresponsible owner not to have any identification on his best friend!
