Many companies do this, especially for their 'professional' staff. Personally, I like the idea of an employer making money off of the sweat of my brow much better than I like the idea of my employer having an interest in seeing me dead!

Oh i seriously hope that's wrong.
i've always thought someone should stop this practice of allowing anyone to buy insurance on someone without their knowledge!! not a good thing!! it's not illegal but should be. it's ridiculous to allow that to happen.
individuals and companies included.

I know my first MIL tried to take out a policy on my daughter when she was born. She wanted her social for this. I said no. Burned me up, She put NO money into raising the child but wants to get paid if she died? Oh i hate that woman. (Anna was born with a hole in her heart.) I don't know if she did take out a policy on her, just the thought makes me mad. it is so wrong, make a profit of someone dieing, you hear your granddaughter might be sick so you take out a policy to make money off of it. WTH!
