I delivered the two wallhangings to the lady yesterday and she couldn't get over how nice they looked. She had cleared a spot on her wall for the larger one. She said she would let me know what her husband thought when he sees it. She studied the back and binding for a long time. She asked me to show her how this all came about. I did. As simple as this seems for most of us, she is still confused. She told me when she learned how to crochet, she made Barbie clothes with thread. She can understand the complicated process of paper-piecing, but finds cutting and sewing a simple 9-patch hard to comprehend. She loved the wallhangings.

What a great story. You may have created a quilter. After seeing your beautiful thoughtful work I'm sure what ever she has blocking her vision now will unravel. She may hang it on the wall but I'm sure she'll be taking it off to examine it more.
