How about Skye Shine? It's the bright glow of the sky when the sun is covered by clouds...much like her color. I've also seen it used as both a quilt block and quilt name.

How about Dagwood's Blondie? For some reason the old Dagwwod Bumstead movies came to mind. I haven't seen them in decades.

I'm not good at names, but I have a mare named Guin (Gwen)

I say I'm not good at names because I have a black cat named Blackey
an orange cat named Orangey and a Grey cat named Grey kitty.

My other two horses are Digger because he is always digging and Junior, well because.......it was better than calling him #2.

Yes Marcia, that is your truly...I thank you all for the ideas...I think DH settled on Misty. I am pretty sure I'm going to call her Misty Skye...along with Babe, Baby, Honey, Sweet Thang, Girlie and of course Pretty Girl. So do I have enough names now?? For a 4 yr. old girl to come to me without, I think she will be "over blessed" with names now! :D

Thank you, thank you , thank you for all your help.  You're all welcome to come visit us and see my beautiful girl anytime you want!

my DD had a horse named MOJO once...theres a song "I got my mojo running" and it seemed to fit her. She did like to do the barrels...
