We have had a few light frosts...NW Minnesota. Weatherman is using the "S" word for next week. Nothing major as the high for that day is into the mid 50's. We have been enjoying such a beautiful Indian Summer, (is that still politically correct?)...once the cold DOES get here, we are going to be in for a huge shock. No time to adjust gradually!!! LOL

Not a my house in central Maine but other parts of the state have had it. We are on a ridge and can usually squeak out a few extra weeks of the growing season but I suspect tonight will end that. It's only gotten to 45 degrees all day with strong winds.

just picked up the mink coat yesterday. and ordered a nice scarf made of mink for the holiday season. I don't want to think about frost yet. but it's cold out here too on the island. about 35 last night.

Here in California, we are still in the 70s. We don't usually get frost till January or February. My violets love it when we do get some.

I'm in Georgia and it is still summer weather during the day. Tonight it is supposed to be 53 with a high tomorrow of 81.

We have had several hard frosts and the other day it snowed for a few minutes. We almost always get snow around Halloween. I know that I am the weird one, but I am as bad as the kids and look forward to the first good snow.

We had frost at the end of September. We started getting it pretty regularly this past week, definitely tonight!
