My husband found a mini dacshound behind his office one day this week. He tried to find it's owner but ended up bringing him home. He was real cute till he peed on the floor. Hubby cleaned it up since he brought him home. The pup isn't crate trained and every time he heard any noise over night, he stated to cry. WE put our ear plugs but since I was already feeling stuffy with a cold, it was a long miserable night. I don't know how we got thru raising 4 other dogs!! We were happy that the owner came to my hubby's workplace to claim the next morning!!

We had done really good about resisting taking a puppy and had a million reasons not to take one. But we really miss having a dog. Our last dog, Sassy, passed away 3 years ago. So, with only 2 puppies left, the male puppy that DH has wanted since he first saw them, one came to live with us tonight.
Youngest DD could not believe it when her Daddy told her she could have the puppy. She brought it straight into the house, bathed it and wrapped it in a warm quilt I made and gave her to use. Of course, both grandbabies went nuts over the puppy. Thankfully, it is not a tiny puppy.
Here is Beau, short for Beauregard.
