Oh yes! he lives only blocks away, within walking distance. one of my other daughters is only a 15 min. drive. I do some baby-sitting too as most grandparents do. But we DO have some restrictions. Book in advance, no staying out real, real late at night, and no sick kids (colds ,etc.) babies need to be cared for by their mommies & daddies at that time.
Other than that, I never say no.
We enjoy the heck out of them and wish all our others lived closer. We have 8 total.

just happened onto your thread and wanted to send congrats to your daughter and family. Was this her first?
we are snowbirds staying in Vero.and love being here since reading what my kids are having back in NJ.
