I have "surfed" quite a few others and find a lot of women from this forum have been on the others. Don't know if they are still there or not tho'. I keep coming back to this one, too.
I might add that this is the first one I go to - does that tell you anything?

Well! Looks like I'm the only one that's "double dipping". I am a member of My Quilt Place that is sponsored by AQS. it is kind of like facebook for quilters where you "friend" other quilters, join groups so like minded quilters can communicate (i.e., featherweight group, piecing, whole cloth quilters, etc. ), you can blog and comment on others' blogs, post pictures, many activities. I enjoy being a member and do check both sites daily.

I regularly visited another craft site. They did swaps and stuff and I asked about swapping fabric squares. I was shot down there and told that they didn't think that was a worthwhile swap.....They did, however, jump every time I posted a photo of something I had made and want the pattern, all the details of how it was made, a poem to go with it and an idea of a price to sell it at a craft fair. I decided it was time to leave. I still check in now and then, but that board is filled with links to others' projects, nothing creative in that...I like using patterns and giving kudos (and $$) to those creative people AND designing my own projects. I get lots of inspiration and help here at QB. It's the first place I look every day.
