    Yes over 500 channels of garbage here, and yes, anything decent is a repeat. I am about to go with local channels and turn the rest of it off. Johannes and I go to the library and check out DVDs to watch. They are free, and at least you know what you are watching.

    Yes this is one of those times I would have liked to have been a mouse in his pocket when the t.v. debate was discussed on his C.B radio and he came up with some of the reasons to keep service. Hmm. Was it all me or were other guys discussing the sanity of their better halves?

    I agree nothing on tv the same thing over and over. My big bitch is you got paid tv so you didn't have all the adds, well it seems like now there are more adds on the ones that were supposed to be adds free.

    I believe you can pay for the channels that you watch. It may not save you much. Go to their website and look.

My hubby is against me cancelling as he figures I will go Looney tunes if I don't atleast have the T.V. as human voice whether or not anything is on. And he wants to see the shows when he comes of the road he has me record on dvr. Yes there are a few I like also.But my debate is over is it really worth the expense versus my sanity(that is hubbys defense MY SANITY. However he said if he comes home and finds I am having a torrid love affair with some news caster or some character off a show , he will reconsider, as he is having the nearest PSYCHO WARD evaluate me! Until then I have been told the the service stays on.
    No you don't. You'll have to pay a cancellation fee, or you take a hit on your credit.

    We don't subscibe to cable or satilite. We have a converter box that gives us the channels we watch but before that we watched what ever we wanted when we want on the computer. It is free. We use Hulu alot. the shows that are popular are usually on the day after. We don't worry about the tv and their schudule we just go there when we want. some we didn't get we just watch them as a movie night. For ex. }"burn notice" we watched the whole last season and had popcorn for a movie night. there is also crackle.net

    You should try Australian TV...Football on every channel for the whole of the weekend. Consequently, I go to the movies and rent DVDs a lot (if I'm not quilting).

    I think the price that cable gets stinks. We pay for channels that we never watch, 2 or 3 government access channels. We have our internet hooked up to the cable and we have the fastest speed. It is so slow and when we call the cable company to complain they tell us it's not them and to call someone else. When it storms everything goes out and I live in a city with underground wiring. They called one day and wanted us to sign up for their phone service. Told them that if the quality of the phone service it like the cable and internet they could go jump in the lake.

    But tina, how is the reception??
    Imy place is beneath a small hill, I don't get good reception on the cell phone, wonder how the reception for an antenna will be like,

    and yes the cable, satellite and the other one, they all give a bunch of channels we don't watch. I accidentally got onto a contract with this cable here in Raleigh, but when it is over, I plan to cancel cable, keep Road runner(online computer, etc) and get me an antenna, and just use hulu. and can get the various channels online to watch the shows! got netflix too, can rent from redbox too! so whats the problem?? Me!
