I live in central TX; I NEVER complain about the rain because we get SO little of it and never when we need it. But when we do, we suffer with days on end of stifling humidity and mugginess. Then comes the 100+ degree weather and no rain in site for 4 months. Wish you guys could send it down here during the summer and we could send you some of the hot and dry. Doesn't work that way unfortunately. Chin up; it'll dry out soon. As they say, nothing lasts forever.

so sick of the rain, so we headed to myrtle beach sc for the week. No rain, stayed in the 80's and we stayed in our swim suits (water was a little cold) but not for old lady toe washing and 2 and 5 year old grandbabies playing. should have stayed longer, we are back to rain in virginia. Oh yeah, I quilted in the car ride

Not a bad idea. We are in the Atlanta area, and in town there are lots with "city owned sheep" or maybe county owned, anyway, we drove by a lot inside the city where they wanted the kudzu and other green stuff gone, and there were a bunch of sheep and two sheep dogs monitoring progress. Half of it was already scalped. Who would have thunk it? Surely not I!!!! Or is it "me"? From what we know, the sheep are moved to other places. No toxic chemicals needed.
