trupeach make gazpacho, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, a bit of onion, cilantro, garlic to taste, bell peppers, (don't use these, I use chili peppers), stale bread cubed, tsp olive oil, 1/8 vinegar or lemon/lime juice. Throw everything together, let sit in the refrig a couple hours. If you like it a bit thinner, run it through the blender.(I have also used Clamto juice in it.) Put sliced hard boiled egg on top. It's cool, refreshing and fills you up. Plus it's very low calorie, especially if you leave out the bread and egg yolk.

Hi everyone. I have been lurking lately because I had nothing to contribute. Just enjoy so much the receipes and Missy's new friend stories and just wanted to come out of hiding and say thank you for eveything. I have been in a weight loss slump lately and you all have help boost me back on tract. I had actually lost 7 lbs, then gained back 3, now I have re-lost 2 of those and I am doing better at healthy eating and using these delicious receipes you all are sharing! So Thanks again and God Bless you all!

OH by the way everyone...meet Billy, my Grandangel! He owns my heart! And will serve as my avi for awhile!

Hey Carolj, That sounds great. My tomatoes a very weak now because of the high temps but still have a few so I may try a small portion.

Well I have Mike and our friend Russ who has Down's over for dinner. I am making burgers and a salad. Nothing special but yummy.

Mike told me tonight that he feels so welcome and loved at my house. Isn't that the sweetest thing ever?

Tomorrow I have to do laundry and go to get my meds in the morning. I am sure I will talk to Mike tomorrow too. I really like talking to him.

Are you remembering that you're "taking things slow"? Sounds like things are moving pretty fast to me two dinners in one weekend. Just watching out for our MissyGirl :) :)

Things are still going very slow. I have only hugged him twice. No kisses or anything like that. I am a good girl remember? :D

We just love to spend time together. We shall see about the future but for right now, it is so much fun being his best friend!

Actually I am in this month, I joined on July 31 so I have been tracting my losses ( and gains and re-losses) like a pro! I made the tomato salad for supper last night and it was really good! So I am thru my slump and ready to lose a few more lbs this month!
