Wow, I thought I joined this, but oh well. I'm going to chat here anyway. :)

For those of you who don't know me I've been watching what I eat since March of 2010. To date, I've lost 42 pounds, and have another 40 or so to go. :) I'm 1.8 pounds away from my next mini goal of 5 pounds.

    I'm happy so far.

I like the idea of a mini goal. My next goal is four pounds away, I'll no longer be obese only fat.

My next goal is 5 pounds away. I really want to be under 280 when Christmas is here...It has been about 3 years I think since I've been that low.

Trupeach-I always had an Advent wreath/candles on the table until my children were gone and grown, and gave them one for a wedding present. I haven't seen mine or theirs in 10 years:-(.

Maybe I'll make a homemade one for us...

Tru, have you ever had a doctor try the Epley maneuver? If your vertigo was sudden onset, this might actually help. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip, however that is for positional vertigo I don't have that.

Advent started last Sunday. You really should even if you get 4 votive candles and put them in a circle. I love doing Advent I did it even the years I lived alone.

You were in last month so you have your weight you can still join. I have a cut off date for people who are new but if you have been doing it all along I figure sometimes they forget to rejoin or can't find the new thread. Not only that sometimes people join up to around the 4/5 so you are OK if you want to join.

Okay. I've had vertigo a couple times in my life so I can vaguely relate and definitely sympathize. When it hits, I couldn't even get out of be without falling. Even breathing would be too much sometimes. The doctor I saw said mine was caused by severe allergies and he would only prescribe Benadryl.

    Hang in there.

awesome Tru - I'm in again officially then! :)

If anyone wants a nice link to where you can track the foods you eat (over 3000+ foods) and calories it's myfitnesspal.com :) I've been using that and weight watchers to help me.

I'm off upstairs to get some sewing done. It's getting to be crunch time

Wow everything from smoking meat, fried eggs and turtles all in one afternoon. You couldn't buy this kind of entertainment even if you tried. Laughter is such a good medicine for anything that ails you and even stuff that doesn't! I sure am getting some strange looks as I sit here laughing at the laptop. I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow brings. But then again with Missy's bottle of wine and Tru's little weinies I guess anything is possible.

Thanks for the good laughs -

    Sherryl
