Way to go I'm afraid to get on the scale I'm starving this month. Is it the season we are all used to eating so much junk in Dec. I wish I could control myself better. gggrrrrrrr.

Tru I'm sorry you're up 3 hang in there you're not alone. I hope you're feeling better.

Tru it has to be water weight. To gain three pounds you had to have eaten 10,500 calories more than normal.

Carol is right Tru. It is just bloating. Do you feel bloated? Oh oh oh. Could you be preggers? I heard you had a turtle visiting you.

Hang in there! I'm with Carol on this. Water weight. I don't even think you've come close to eating 3 pounds of food.

Preggers? Hmmm.... So when's the big day?! :) just kidding! (unless you are really trying, in which case it would be awesome!)

    LC is "LOW CARB".

This means most of my calories come from protein and fat. Right now, this is about 13% protein (about 2-1/2 ounces a day), 80% fats (about 7 ounces a day, mostly as nuts and supplementing with mayo as salad dressing) and the remainder (about 7%) as carbs (in the form of veggie-tray favorites (with mayo as dip!) and salads.) I've eaten as much as 2600 calories in a day and still lose weight using the above percentages.

My low carb cheesecake recipe is from a locarb forum:

2 packages 8 oz cream cheese
    2/3 c granulated Splenda (I use 1/2 cup)
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Soften the cream cheese and beat all ingredients until good and smooth.
    Pour into pie pan.
Bake at 325 for 50 mins.

    Cool for 20 minutes.

    Topping
    1 cup sour cream
    1 tsp vanilla
3 Table spoons granulate Splenda (I use 2 Tbsp.)

Mix and spoon on top of "crust"
Bake another 15 minutes at 325. Best served cold.

    Code:
Cheesecake No top	w/top	|	No top	w/top
    Serving 1/12	1/12	|	1/8	1/8
    Calories 182.56	236.8	|	273.84	355.2

OH YES! ONE MORE THING! The percentages are based on grams of food, not calories!

    Another one more thing:

I'm maybe eating 10 to 12 ounces of food total a day.
