Edie, the thread for January won't be posted until this round is done. This round ends December 30th so maybe check for the January sign-up thread on December 31st.
Thank you so very much - Edie

With the economy, the city won't pay overtime for weekend plowing. Coming home, I buried my poor car up to the frame. Four sweet teenagers got me on the road again. I arrived home to no power, so I went outside and worked on the driveway and walked the dogs. I'd rather not stay in a cold house. The power came back on after 4 1/2 hours, so it could have been much worse.

Made me wish the 'new' machine I bought Friday had been a treadle. I did get an apron cut out while I had no power. Now to get it sewn - twelve yards of single fold bias tape go on one apron. Yikes!

Weight is holding - I ate screwy today with no stove, so we'll see.

Missy, the purse is cute. My preteen granddaughter would like it.

Anyone need some snow? We have plenty. 141 schools are closed tomorrow. I have a daughter stranded in Chicago coming in from the West. Call it an extra day of vacation.
Wow. You have really had a time of it! I am glad you came upon those sweet kids to help you get out of that snow! I have been stuck a few times and it is so not a good time!

I hope you do not have to go anywhere today. Oh and thank you for the sweet compliment for the little pocket purse!

I didn't come upon the teens - they came to me - I wasn't going anywhere. The two older ones in the truck went home to get a shovel and the the two young ones were just out walking. I travel with a shovel, so we had our work cut out for us. My fault for trying to stop and mail something. You've got to keep the wheels moving when you're the snowplow. Poor car. We got more snow overnight wirh more wind, so I'm snowed in again. It seems to have stopped for now. At least it's sunny and everything is beautiful. That helps. We have close to 2 feet of snow more than we had this time Saturday with drifts all over. It isn't even winter yet. I'm too old for this - and too arthritic, etc. I'm still recovering from my last foot surgery. Wah, wah. No whining allowed.

It's going to be a really white Christmas!!

25 years!! That is wonderful!! There are many things you can do without money. You could have a sweet dinner together or maybe even take a shower together or take a walk together or maybe even sit together watching your favorite shows.

Be creative! This is the silver anniversary for y'all!! YAY!

True across the board. However, he's been at work since 6am this morning and isn't home yet. The boss sent him on a service call to Baton Rouge. I don't know what time he will be home!
