We're talking pine for 5K. Good flooring would run about $25K but I live in a low cost neighborhood. That would be like lining a cardboard box with silk.

LOL! It would have to be a bit bigger! It's only 36" by 38".

Oh I totally understand that! We are going to have our house reappraised to make sure we have not "over" done the house. We do not think so. Before we started the work we had a realtor come and tell us what was reasonable and what wasn't. We do not want to sell this house or move for many many years.

I will be pinning and sewing it around the edges just below the white picot edge, some of it by machine, the rest by hand. Then I'm going to use DMC perle cotton and hand tie the back to the front. I'm planning on staggering in 6" squares. I'm hoping it turns out. :fingers crossed:

Oh wait! I haven't attached it yet! But I have plans to sew 3/4 by machine then turn it through and finish it by hand.

I can hardly believe that we are only 6 days to Christmas! Where in the world did the time go?!?! Holy moly.

I am up before anyone else as usual. I am about to go sit at my sewing machine for an hour or so.

I hope everyone is doing well. There has been so little activity on this thread the last few days. Where are you???

I need you people to come back to the thread so I can continue to drive you people out of your minds! It is important, dontcha know?!

    Missy

PS: I am working on my six-pack. I am looking goooood aren't I?
