Thanks for being here waiting to be visited. Bringing laughter and good cheer.Sometimes tears. I'm so glad for family so I'm so happy for you Tru. You all seem like family to me. I sometimes think wow I can't believe she said that. Other times I laugh right out loud. You girls are the best. I hope you're all ready for the big day and ready to put your feet up and enjoy.

Hi everyone! I am going to update you guys quickly then I have to get off here to help my mom.

Over the weekend I had a terribly traumatic thing happen. I was going through the box of denim I got off of freecycle. I was separating the bigger peices from the smaller ones and something felt very heavy and when I pulled a piece of the denim out of my hand a gun feel out of the pile of denim. It was a large gun---according to my stepdad it was a .44 caliber----well, needless to sat I FREAKED out! I started screaming for my parents to come into my room and they did. My stepdad took the gun and my mom sat with me until I calmed down.

Ever since then things have been jumbled for me in my head. I do not know if it is hallucinations or what. My case manager that I saw today thinks that the trauma has caused my thoughts to be disorganized and that if I keep talking to them then it will eventually straighten itself out. If not then they will talk to my psychiatrist to see if he wants to change any of my meds.

    *sigh*

It has been a rough few days that is for sure.

Other than that not a whole lot has been going on.

I will chat with you guys later.

    Missy

Oh Missy that is so scary! I would be totally freaked out to find something like that. The 44 is what Dirty Harry used, a big honkin pistol! Not what you want to find in your fabric. Well, okay my husband would probably be happy to find that in my fabric. He much prefers weapons to fabric. Go figure.

Wow Missy that is freaky. I hope you're ok. I'd be really messed if that happened to me.

Tru I know how you feel I've been eating all kinds of stuff I havn't eaten in months I'm so busy with finishing up I don't have time to cook so I've had pizza and Mcdonalds etc. I'll be glad when Dec. is behind me.

I've been HUNGRY the last couple of days. Plus, it is to wet to exercise. I was going to work out to a TV program, but my internet and cable went out because of the rain.

I am really struggling with my thoughts since the gun incident. My mom wants me to see the psychiatrist and maybe have my meds adjusted. We'll see.

oh...I do not know if i said this but the floor is done and they are hanging our cabinets right now. Soo hopefully the granite can be brought in this week. Whew! This remodel might actually get done! the new appliances are waiting to be delivered too. I will be so glad when the appliances are here and the cabinets are up...no more living out of boxes!

    Missy,
Did you notify the police about the gun? They can possibly trace the serial number and find the owner... or possible tell if it's stolen
