Well if I ever needed more motivation I got it this morning. When I was getting ready for work this morning i realized that I had left my pants hanging in the laundry room so I ran down the hall to get them. I saw my shadow on the hall wall and It looked like I was wearing four swim rings around my self. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! This even after I have lost 15 pounds the past two months! So from now on I will leave the light off in the hall so my shadow never scares me that bad, that is until I take off at least three of those ugly swim rings I have. I am really motivate to lose that 75 lbs goal (or more) I have.

Tru I'm glad you are helping us all again this month. With out you our fearless leader it wouldn't be the same. I do miss your stories at the SS page.

Missy Come out Come put where ever your are. We miss you!

I'm running late this month - probably from eating so much - but I'm in again for Dec. With the holiday parties and snacks everywhere, it's probably just me wanting to give away another FQ. But what the heck, I enjoy this board!

Gwyn you can make May a month of renewing as the trees and grass start to turn green and the flowers are blooming giving that sign that nature is reviving once again. Kind of like your new quilt that you were so deserving of.

Good Morning! I just finished my workout. It's 7:30am and I'm going to have my breakfast apple pie oats, almond milk and a tsp. of maple syrup. Yum. I'm hoping to get a lot done on my Christmas quilts today. That is if one of my darling children don't call and ask me to watch any of my wee grandbabies today. I love them dearly and love to have them but I need to get something done.

I'm going to do GREAT this month! I weighed myself this morning (down .5 lbs from last week and I wasn't even trying) and I made today's goal: Be in control of myself ALL day. I can do this!

    Hey,
Just checking in for my daily dose of cheerful motivation while I eat my oats, I forgot how much I liked whole oats with a dash or two of salt and honey for sweetining. Sure is more healthy than the mixture of coffee, diet pepsi and candy and /or cookies as is my usual . I don't really know how to go about this, even though I am in health care. I did the low carb thing for so long, while I lost weight and felt fantastic,I know now with the 70 lb weight gain it is not do-able for me in the way I was going about it those few years.
I think for this month I will just try to avoid binging (which I do so well at) and just try to get some more activity and make better choices like the last two am's with the oats.
    Brightest blessings to all,
    Rae

Is it too late? Only by a few hours.......

December is such a challenge for me -- dinners out, parties, pot lucks, Christmas dinner (2 of them!), etc.. so this will give me some motivation to rein it in a bit. I usually go on a "sea food" diet in December --- I see food, I eat it! :P Everything looks and tastes sooooooo good!!
