interesting info............i do pilates twice a day 15 minutes each time HOWEVER even though your burn calories all day once you exercise any exercise. if you exercise 20 minutes straight you burn more all day then if you exercise 15 minutes twice a day. sooooooooo that means all i had to do was exercise 5 minutes more once a day and i didn't have to exercise the second time. i hope i explained this correctly!

I would keep up the twice daily exercise. It keeps the metabloism up and you will continue to burn calories at a higher rate.

Also try interval training. Exercise at a high rate, for example 3 minutes, then for 9 minutes at a moderate rate. Then back to the high rate. Continue for your workout. I do this for about 20 minutes. Generally a 1 to 3 ratio is what is needed. So you workout for one minute at a high rate, its 3 minutes at a moderate rate. Your heart rate should be elevated during the high rate.

Thanks Tru for the Pilates info. I will definitely look into it. Sounds like a good extension to my walking and weights. Prayers up for all of you under the weather. Speaking of weather wish I could bring you all down to the beach with me. 70s, sunny and gorgeous here on the little peninsula between the Gulf and Tampa Bay. Before you get too mad at me spring here brings the sting rays, the jellyfish and the hammerheads that follow the jellyfish. Oh yes and the gators will be on the move lookin' for love in all the wrong places and those fun loving, hotel demolishing springbreakers! See every area has it's good and bad. So shovel just a little while longer and focus on the calories burning. (grew up in Mi and lived in KY so I feel for all of you in this hard winter). Stay warm and keep stitching!

Headache is finally gone. Thank you Lord!!! Still feeling a little nauseated. Did eat some soup for dinner that I've kept down so far. Trying to drink as much fluids as I can to rehydrate my system. This has been going on long enough. It's time to be well. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a "well" day for me.

I hope the rest of you that have been under the weather, are feeling better also. Night all~ Sandy

I guess I have to step up the exercise because I did not lose any weight this week. I have 5 weeks left to lose 30 pounds or reschedule the surgery.

*praying* Please don't make me have to reschedule!

I will up my calories to 1000-1100 and increase activity and see how that goes.

Missy is one worried cookie err salad...*sigh*
