Hi guys! I am still alive here. My computer on the other hand almost got sent to death row. UGH! Sometimes I hate electronics. Oh well, I love being on here so I am glad it is fixed now.

I am living with monumental anxiety these days. I see the surgeon on Monday and I am terrified I have gained weight or that for some other reason they will say I cannot have the surgery I have worked so hard to get. *deep sigh*

I so not do this often but I need prayers. I would appreciate all the prayers I can get. Especially from my friends. If you are on prayer trees or have prayer lists, please add me.

This might seem like a petty thing but I know and the doctors that have been caring for me know that if I do not get the surgery I very well may die from complications from super morbidly obesity.

I am super scared but am trying to stay busy so that I just don't sit around thinking about it.

Today my mom and I are going to the spa to have a color weave put in our hair and get it cut and styled, then I think we might do some shopping. We shall see. Our hair appointments will probably run about 3-4 hours so we may not have too much time to do anything else.

Anyway...for the moment I am still alive and will be at least until 10:00 AM Monday morning.

I love you guys and want to thank you in advance for your prayers!

    Missy

My dear Missy you are having a normal reaction. The surgery is a big deal and yes you have worked your butt off (so too speak). It will all workout. I will be praying for you. Now go have fun with your Mom and relax.

Carrie I have a plan send the kid that is off to the school that is open. Tell them you didn't realize you sent the wrong kid. With all the confusion you could buy yourself a few hours of them out of the house.LOL

Hello everyone. I've been scarce the past few days. "Life" has been a little, no, it's been a LOT hectic for me lately. With God's help THIS WILL PASS!!!

Missy, you are in my prayers regarding your surgery and your concerns. That is a normal reaction to be scared/concerned.

Tru, hope you've been able to sleep more. Bless your heart! You and your daughter remain in my prayers.

Carrie, my snow is almost all gone but I didn't get but 2-3 inches. I feel for you with teenagers confined inside. Hair raising time!!!!

Jeri and Edie, I FINALLY GOT YOUR FAT QUARTERS SENT OUT TODAY. Sorry I'm so late, but better late than never.

I went for my Ortho follow up visit today. He was concerned I still require the use of my cane, somewhat. Another xray showed the arthritis in my knee is worse than it was just 2 months ago. That knee is almost bone on bone. I got a cortisone injection. Ouch!!!! That knee feels like he injected cement. I've taken pain meds and hopefully they will hit soon. He said when injections no longer help, next step is knee replacement. I don't want that yet, I'm only 53 yrs old. But, illness doesn't know age.

Hubby is heating me up a bowl of chili for dinner, so I will get off here for a while. I hope you all have a good evening. Hugs to everybody!!! Sandy
