If I have a high INR, I have a large chance of internal bleeding. If my INR is too low, I risk another blood clot. It is a fine balance.
Oh goodness!! That has got to be extremely hard to deal with. I will be praying for you.
Thank you for explaining it to me.
I survived a "sudden death" embolism and more than 30 blood clots in my lungs. That I am alive today is a miracle from God.
The post that I made today about a member losing a family member was from a massive blood clot. Glad you are being careful and safe with your condition.

Purple, are they watching your diet? I know with my dad he was restricted from eating certain foods and using aspirin.[/quote]

Oh yes, I am on a very limited vitamin K foods - no green leafy vegetables or broccoli, beets, etc. No liver. no cranberries or juice.

All takes practice and determination. Makes a 1200 calorie diet much more difficult. Can't do the salad thing to fill up.

I am feeling absolutely terrific! I have lost weight, am on an exercise regimen now, me and my pedometer are inseparable. All this in the comforts of our home! Edie

PS - I sure could go for a Burger King Original Chicken sandwich though!

I found something better than winning FQs!
My Ex stopped by to deliver some old photos. We do NOT talk.
He said I look really thin!
