A little over a year ago, one of his friends was killed. James had a chance to witness to this kid, before he died, and James didn't. He felt so much remorse for it.

I found out this morning, that James had on chest waders. This means, when he fell off the boat, those chest waders would have filled up fast with water and weighted him down. This just looks worse and worse, but the family is still hanging onto hope and faith. Thanks again for your prayers and please keep them coming. Sandy

Oh Sandy I am so sorry. I hated when my son went fly fishing all alone with chest waders for fear if he fell they would fill up and pull him into the river and no one would know. Has it now gone from search and rescue to search and recover????? I don't mean to pry but my heart aches for all involved.

I have a terrible headache and backache today. I did nothing but laid on the couch. I knoe the back was from moving furniture but the headache is a headache from hell. Not a mirgrain. It is acrossd my forhead, behind my eyes and into my cheeks. grrrrrrr
I had some leftover ham so I am making beans and rice......yum.....filling and healthy. I weighed and measures so there is 3 servings, dinner for the next few days. I wanted to make multigrain bread but am not feeling well enough to bake bread. Maybe tomorrow I will do it. I like baking all in one day and I also wanted to bake snacks. Cranberry biscotti and meringue cookie.

I had a great weight checkup at my doc... down 30.0 pounds since November 1, hemoglobin A1C down from 9.6 to 7.1. We all did the happy dance.

I have a sinus infection, ear infection and TMJ. Taking new drugs (yippee!)

Sandy, my prayers are with you and family.
Tru-get better, maybe a sinus infection?
    Missy-where are you today?
April-what do you know about purple paisley blocks?

    Hello Friends,
Cook this tonight and love yourself tomorrow!

Rice Pudding for Breakfast from Jane Brody

Combine 3 cups cooked brown rice (or grains)in sauce pan
    3 c skim milk
    1 egg & 1 egg white
Whatever sweetener you use (can add later)
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or more
    raisins optional, dried fruit,nuts, etc.

Cook over med heat, stirring so it does not burn. Yummo.
I usually have leftover rice from takeout Chinese. Had this for breakfast w banana & blueberries. A great start.
Life is hard. Take care. Dotty

Mj you are doing great. I think I might have a sinus infection. I cleaned the fireplace Saturday. There was so much soot I was choaking from it. I thought next time I will tie a scarf around my nose and mouth.
