I have never seen a burn turn black and blue. The top of my foot right in the center is black and blue the rest is still lobster red.

YOYO again. I pigged out the last few days and I am back up to 185 grrrrrrrrrrr. I de crapped the fridge this morning. Joyce doesn't cook that often. She never cooked before the injury. I got her the Julia Child cookbook for Christmas. Most recipes are for 6-8 servings that she makes. I have told her we can't eat all that and she won't eat leftovers. I hate to waste food. She makes a really good broccoli casserole however it had chedder cheese and crushed ritz crackers. She triples the amount of cheese and crackers. 1 serving must be 800 calories. 1/2 of the pan was left....the dog now loves me. LOL

I realized when I am hungry if I eat carbs it doesn't satisfy my hunger. I was eating pizza and danish and was still hungry I then had about 2 oz of chicken and I was no longer hungry. I have to re think how I am going to have my meal plan.

I got my new yogurt maker yesterday. I have been searching for 1 and they seem to cost about $40 however walmart.com had 1 for less the $19. you can't buy it in stores. Store bought plain yogurt cost $3.69 for 32oz with making it myself (which I have done for years) it cost about $1.25 for 32oz. The yogurt maker is well worth the money in the long run.

    Tru, we love you too!

Keep a close eye on the burn site. Black and blue on a burn means there was underlying capillary damage, much like a bruise. It is your body's way of working on fixing the damage to the dermis.

I watched Hungry Girl make her brownies. This is my take off from her recipe.

    Carrot Cupcakes
1 c vanilla or yellow boxed cake mix
    1 4oz jar baby carrots
    1 6"-7" carrot grated
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/8 tsp ground cloves

heat oven to 400.....spray a 12 cup mini muffin pan with cooking spray. In a small bowl with a wooden spoon mix all ingredents well. Fill 12 mini muffin cups. Bake 20 minutes.
each mini cupcake is 45 calories

If you want to guild the lily top it will cream cheese frosting and add 15 calories for a total of 60 per cupcake.

    Cream Cheese Frosting
1 oz room temp cream cheese (I used regular not low fat)
1/4 c yocheese or greek yogurt
    1/4 tsp vanilla
    1 Tbsp powdered sugar

is a small bowl mix everything with a fork until smooth. frost cupcakes

I have been a HUGE fan of the Hungry Girl for years now. Her recipe books are well worth the money.

I will have to look at the books and send in some more of her recipes. Thanks so much for sending this one in!
