Hey! Yippee! I just got on the scale. I've lots 9.2 pounds since a week ago. Sure, some of it is water from my new medication, but I love it!

    Doing my own happy dance.

I discovered the new smell. Someone got a new air freshener refill - Birthday Cake. I pulled it out of the wall and put something called "Fresh Air" in instead. Then I put the "Birthday Cake" freshener away. I'll toss it some day when the person who bought it is not home. So far, they haven't noticed a change. Whew, I thought I had a cake with thick frosting to resist. I'm so glad it wasn't.

I already did. The kids all went to the movie so I am home alone. I also checked the rest of the refills. No more birthday cake for us. I really hat the apple/pumpkin pie and gingerbread ones the kids like at Christmas. I prefer to just have cinnamon. Those others make me hungry.

Okay, I'm going off line and getting some work done. I am really stumped on my IRR quilt top. I've made 3 different boarders, but none of them look quite right. I have got to get this finished and mailed. Back to the drawing board for me.

Congrats Gwyn on the great weight loss. I've lost but nothing like that. I'm good though. At least I'm going down (most of the time).

Ready for a recipe? How about this one?

I get Weight Commander tips of the day and this is one that he had on the fifth. It's quick easy and, to me anyway, sounded pretty good.

Take artificial crablegs (surimi)and chop them up with a knife. Then mix it with canned tuna. Then maybe 2 TBL of light French dressing. Stir it up a little and you're done.

    - I would probably use fat free ranch dressing instead of french but you could mix it up periodically. Weight Commander is just that....I get tips and quick little snack suggestions. I'll post another recipe in a few minutes.

Thanks for the great recipes! I have not joined (missed the date) but have been following along with interest. Any good ideas on what to eat is always appreciated. Everyone is doing a great job. I went bike riding night before last. First time in over a year. I can still feel the imprint of the seat on my behind. I walk alot, but riding used a whole different set of muscles. Going to keep it up.

I'm trying to get in more exercise which is a pain for me. I don't like it and I don't like to do it by myself. In September when I go to Utah on vacation though, I've told my friends I want to do some walking. Perhaps I'd better start now and work up to it. I'll try and post more recipes. I have a ton of them and my brother is always giving me more. :)
