oh ladies. How I want to just eat the cake batter that I just made....... The cake for my dads b-day is in the oven as we speak. It was a real temptation to lick the whole bowl. but I kept it to one real light lick of the spoon then let my dd have a lick also. then right into the sink with water in the bowl to keep me from going back and licking it. It is getting real hard not to just break down and eat all the junk food when the kids are driving me nuts. with one just getting over teething and being sick i have another that last night seemed to be getting sick. the winning and the crying and screaming of last night and today is about to drive me to "eat" the bad stuff.

I am fascinated by this stuff I am learning in my new book. It is like a light coming on about what is in those food labels and on the packaging. Really interesting.
One thing I just learned was that when you read the label, look at the total carbs and subtract the total grams of sugar. The product with this highest number is the best choice. For example:
Cereal #1
20 grams carbs
3 grams of sugar
------------------
17 grams difference
Cereal #2
20 grams carbs
13 grams of sugar
------------------
7 grams difference
The Cereal #1 is the best choice. Make sense?
If anyone wants to know more about this stuff let me know.

PS: Thank you LaurieJo! I love to laugh! LOL!!

I'm guess I better get my FQ ready. I have done something to my left hip and it is causing a lot of pain. I can't exercise and the weight won't come off unless I starve myself, not gonna do that. I hate this, I was doing so good with the eating and exercising. Good luck to all of you.

Oh hang in there!! I do not think you have to starve yourself or even stop exercising. Maybe try lifting weights while sitting in a chair instead of doing something that will cause pain in your hip.
I am sure hoping you heal soon. Don't give up! I have confidence you will do good.
