I'm impressed, I can't do one stomach crunch!
I cheated I use an ab lounger. It's less strain on the neck and back but gives an great work out. My stomach muscles feel the burn big time.
I have never tried that. I will have to look into that.

I can't afford to do that. I used to do aerobics when I was in college. I really enjoyed it. It would be neat to try the water aerobics.

I like banana bread and banana pancakes, there is something comforting with eating warm bananas. Why did I think of this sooner? I had a 1/2 of a banana sitting on the counter and this morning when I was putting my oeatmeal in the microwave instead of add my normal 1/2 jar of baby fruit I cut the banana in chunk and dumped it in the bowl and microwaved it along with the oatmeal. OMG it was delishhhhhhhh. I don't always have bananas in the house but when I do sure as s**t they will go in my oatmeal.

Yesterday DD stopped at a sandwich shop to bring home lunch for us. Along with a HUGE salad she got herself a strawberry yogurt parfait. They only had strawberry which I am allergic to so I was unable to have one. Anyway it looked so good all in layers and topped with granola I had to have 1 for myself. I made the granola since this is something I would NEVER buy and I made a yogurt parfait in a crystal wine glass and had it last night as a snack.

    Granola
    1 c oatmeal
    1/4 c wheat germ
    2 tbsp sesame seeds
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp cloves
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 tbsp orange juice
    1 tsp molasses

I made it in the toaster oven since it was such a small amount. Heat oven to 300. In a bowl mix oatmeal, wheat germ, sesame seeds, cinnamom and cloves. Sprinkle the oil, juice and molasses over the top and mix together. Put on baking sheet, bake about 20 minutes or until golden. Let it cool and put in a air tight container.

    Yogurt Parfait

3/4 c plain yogurt mix in 1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 c diced fruit ( peach ,pear or 1 c berries)
    1 tbsp granola
    1 pretty glass

Layer yogurt and fruit in the glass. Top with granola.

Depending on the calories in the yogurt since all companies have a slightly different amount and depending on what fruit you use this is anywhere between 100-125 calories. It makes a nice afternoon or evening snack.

Trupeach, These sound delicious and I am going to try them.

Well, ladies, I've decided to join weight watchers today because I really am having a difficult time staying with the program. Seems I really need someone to monitor me and get after me. My hubby tries but I don't like to listen to him!!! :) You all know how that is. LOL

    Wish me luck.
