MJ, prayers are being offered as I type. Keep us posted. I agree with bluteddi. Vit K was given to my daughter to control bleeding both before and after any surgery.

cotton shirting...........can it be used for backing? What is is like? fabric.com has it for $1.99 per yd. Nothing with prints only stripes but if it will be a good backing I will get some. I NEED yardage for backings.

Thank you for your prayers.

I am home now. I have a bladder and kidney infection. Coumadin level is fine. I lost 1/4 of my blood. Didn't need a transfusion until blood loss was 1/3, so I'm good to go.

Very tired. Am relaxing in my recliner, watching the horse across the way.

Good grief, MJ, that's a lot of blood. When I have surgery, I usually bleed heavily. I need iron and salt to get my 'get up and go' back. Iron alone doesn't do it. That's the only time I get to eat salty snacks. Drink lots of your favorite herbal tea and relax. We'll be thinking of you.

Turpeach, you're making it hard to stay on my fabric moratorium. I can buy needed backing, but right now I don't need any.
