Yes!!!!!!!!!!! potato over rice, especially if it is a baked potato you can control the amount of butter, etc with rice more then likely it would be a rice pilaf or risotto which the rice is sauted in some sort of butter or oil. You don't need the extra fat. Even if it is a baked potato skip the butter and go for a LITTLE sour cream and chives.

This will be based on the honor system and each person will be truthful about their total weight loss for the month. The choice will be solely up to you to join in, but here is the way it will work.

All participants are voluntarily joining to lose weight and will be competing to be the top loser for the month of April. This time there will be a 1st place and 2nd place winner. The winners will receive a fat quarter from the other participants. If there is a tie the fat quarters will be divided up equally. After everyone has sent a pm with the total pounds they have lost, for the time period, a winner will be determined and posted on the same thread. You may pm Lneal with your weekly loss if you feel it would benefit you, however this is optional.

On May 1, the winners will be posted. It will then be the responsibility of the losers to contact the winners with details on how to send the fat quarter.

Those who wish to participate will be the ones who post to this new thread. The original thread "Weigh In" will continue as it always has for everyone, so that we can get the encouragement and support we need from each other. You may post how much you have lost weekly, but please no running totals.
