Pocoellie: So nice to know that I'm not the only one that gets up with the chickens and before breakfast. I, too, have done this for as long as I can remember, and that's a LONG time. Best time of the day to get anything accomplished. Can't seem to convince the rest in the building. There are very few others who are also early risers. I live in senior housing. That's why I say building. Marge L.

sewcrafty, I know exactly what you mean. The older I have gotten the later in the am I get up. I was really having trouble waking up to go to work during the week, but could not seem to sleep past 7 am on the weekends. We got a dog, our Lucy now wakes me up every morning between 6 and 6:30 am but I still cannot sleep in on the weekends. But, I sure do like the alone time in the morning. Just me and Lucy down in the sewing/quilting room until DH gets up.
