We own a house on Campobello Island, and when we went in 2008 when my fil died we went on a whale watching tour and saw a lot of whales.
When we were finished packing up the house, and were leaving for probably the last time, 3 whales followed us through the channel on our ferry ride to Deer Island,NB.
It was a nice good bye, for the boys dad, as he probably will never go back to stay on Campobello.
Hopefully you will be lucky next time!!!

My grandson was very appreciative and said he enjoyed the boat ride anyways. We had a great day together, left home at 7 am and never got back home til almost 9 pm. He enjoyed everything. He is been here with us since mid June and will be going back to his Mom on Friday. I had the youngest granddaughter for a week in June also, that was fun. She and I spent a day at the ocean too! The oldest is too busy to come to Grandma's anymore...so sad.

We've gone several times, first was in Cape Cod and then outside of Seattle but the very best was in Newfoundland. Keep trying, it is so worth it esp if you find a boat captain who knows what he is doing & loves what he does. It is great that they offered the replacement tickets. Maybe mid week would be less busy.
