I collected thimbles, hall teapots, boyds bears. But now that I have so many I have stopped and am trying to downsize.

Out with the bears and in with the fabric.

Other than fabric I collect trees. Started out with someone giving me a tree she made with pine cones. Then I would put it out at Christmas time. Others began giving me trees--any kind usually for Christmas. I began the collection on the and would display them only at the holidays. I more recently acquired 2 glass front lawyer book shelves where they have a permanent home. No more packing them up after the holidays. This has also developed into making 'tree' wall hangings pieced, applique, etc. for decorating.

I collect vintage & antique sewing machines, mainly Singers.
Hubby bought me a Singer Model 12 dating to 1871 for Valentine's Day.
