For those of you who watch "Downton Abbey" on PBS, this is the book for you.
Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey by The Countess of Carnarvon. This nonfiction book is written by the present Countess that lives in Highclere Castle. Downton Abbey was filmed at Highclere Castle.

This book is about the people that lived there during the time period of Downton Abbey. And to whet you appetite more, the 5th Lord Carnarvon help discover the tomb of Tankankhamun in Egypt with Howard Carter. It was his money that financed the dig. Very interesting book.

Right now I'm reading Holy Blood Holy Grail by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh & Henery Lincoln. A very interesting hypothesis on an important time in history. Opens up a whole new world of thinking and possibilities.
