What books would you recommend to read?

So sorry to hear about your mother. Incredibly tough thing to be going through but know you are making a significant difference in her life. Don't be afraid to ask for help from others, even if you have to hire someone to give you a little time away. It will make you a better caregiver. Give any book by Dorothea Benton Frank a read. She is fabulous. My prayers and wishes go your way.

Sorry about you mom. My 65 year old husband is suffering Alzheimers' and each day is a challenge. God Bless you. I love Sandra Brown and my all time favorite is Judith McNaught.
Thanks for your kind thoughts and your concern. I really appreciate all of the support and kindness from the members of this board. Everyone has been wonderful. I'll look into the books and authors you've suggested. They sound like subjects I would be interested in and the 700 pages doesn't scare me off (lol)! Thanks.

"To KIll a Mockingbird" was/is a great book, also "Where The Red Fern Grows." They are both very easy reads to be sure but they both have left me in tears, even after rereading for the umphteenth time.
"The Help" was very good as well.
