I got an MP3 player with a lot of my favorite songs already on it. You wouldn't know by looking at this 62 year old but i was a DISCO QUEEN in my day. The kids did a good job of picking out the disco music.

I also got much satisfaction from the reactions of my MIL and the grandbabies that I made lap quilts for! :) (Probably the best gift of all!)
    Hi Charlee:
Are you a collector of thimbles? I am. I have over 400 of them from all over the world.

I see we hail from the same State.

    dmackey,
Now I have tears running down my face. I have a DGD and DGS. They are the joy of my heart. That beautiful little angel will be here before you know it. Start that quilt.

From my secret sister exchange, I received a quilting magazine. From myself, I bought a new reclining loveseat prior to having surgery in Oct. For my husband, my daughters and I sent him on a scavenger hunt throughout the house for his gift. That was priceless because he is always pulling practical jokes on us.

Our daughters also bought us a new 26" flat screen tv for our bedroom.

I got the bestest thing you could ever want.........A Red Ryder BB Gun!!!

But not just any one it was a 70th Anniversary model!

And my Daughter gave me a sweet puzzle which I finished yesterday and waiting to dry to be able to take and get matted and framed for my studio.

Then it was my usual few pairs of fleece lounge pants and long sleeve T-shirts that I love to wear this time of the year and candy!
