Everyone's gifts sound wonderful, but, BEV, that paiting by Blythe is absolutely AMAZING! I am in AWE of that painting. I love fairies/faeries/sprites, but, putting those things aside, the paiting/painter/ability is breathtaking! GASP! She is one talented young woman. If she is not doing this as a paying--and well-paying-- job, she needs to be!
I'm drooling. That is one talent I wish I had. I am supposed to have that talent, but they passed it on to someone else!!! I oil painted a little in high school, but ... it wasn't like this! ;)
My Blythe does awesome work. I have a wall with alot of pics she's done for me
    She spolis me ;)

Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas. I got a really comfy robe and slipper set, a floor size Ott light and then the one that just about knocked me over in surprise. A Janome Memory Craft 6600! Santa went way over budget but I just can't be upset at Santa because I wanted it so much.

My Christmas was very nice! I got gift certificates for my favorite LQS and a stocking full of little notions (pins, spot remover, marking pens, etc). I also got some clothes and a new kitchen calendar. But, I think the very best part of the day was the announcement that my son (eldest child-27) and girlfriend are engaged!!!!!!!!!!! He had my daughters and I all convinced that it would not be happening this Xmas...he had bought her (and wrapped at our house) a food processer, a pillow, and a wine rack! This is hubby and I's first child to get married...our daughters are both in college and only one is in a serious relationship. We are all so excited!
