I got a new sewing embroidery machine from DS. Daughter & fam got me floor tiles for my new sewing room. D&MIL gave me money. Mom gave me money. Sister gave me stuff for Snoopy collection & cookbook. Other sister me 2 new cookboks & chile pepper stuff. Dh is finishing my sewing room this weekend. I'd say I had a wonderful Christmas. Just glad it is over. I'm tired & want to get back to what I love. Sewin, embroidery & quilting.

Wow - ya'all got some great gifts and gave me some ideas for working on my wish list for next year! I got a new sewing machine - A Brother Innov-is 40. It's machine #3 for me. My other 2 are great machines, but over 25 years old and way too heavy to take to quilt classes. I wanted (as opposed to 'needed') a lightweight carry-around machine and my husband bought the one I looked at. Now I can sew with my friends!

I got a couple of video games, an ironing board and cover (it was on my list, I was so sick of hearing Sasha b!tch and complain about how crappy my old one was) a DVD set of Season 5 of Nip/Tuck, I got a Magic Bullet food processor, a 100 dollar gift certificate for Thyme Maternity ( Really need new clothes that FIT) and a whole bunch of sewing stuff in my stocking :) My family is practical and buys stuff we need around the house, which I REALLY appreciate because it's stuff we'd otherwise have to go out and buy ourselves, but Sasha's family is pretty rich and they're used to giving each person a rather expensive gift... I'm not complainig but I feel REALLY spoiled by his family!

You be careful. Your gonna be a little top heavy soon & your balance may be off so be careful in those high heels.

Those shoes are awesome - look like they're easy to dance in - good placement of the heel!

Everyone seems to have gotten some nice things. Congrats to all of you that got new machines - it's like getting a new member of the family. When I got my new machine in July, I felt like I should send out birth announcements or something! lol

Baren - those shoes are awesome, but Debra is right...you be careful, you have extra special cargo aboard!

I don't know how they came up with the website, neither sews, but among the gifts I got from stepdaughters Susan and Carol was a gift certificate to Connecting Threads. That's one of the few sites I've ever ordered from and in fact ordered an assortment of threads as a gift from my DH. Can't wait to see what's available!
