    We took the cruise. And toured the ports at each town. The whale watching, the fishing was also great. We love the trip and want to go back.

    Thanks, Joan and ewecansew! The bear was attracted to the people because of the fish they were catching and the bear ended up leaving. The plan for fishermen is that if a bear gets too close or aggressive they get in the boat and leave. They give the bears right of way. :)

    Alaska Members- I will be cruising to Alaska and will have time in Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, and Juneau - are there quilt shops near the dock used by the Cruise Ships?
