Never thought about the seam ripper! Guess the name of mine would be "Dammit" since that's what I say every time I reach for it!!

My firebird doesn't have a name yet. Any ideas?

My hubby used to have a red Firebird about 30+ years ago, and he called his FireChicken. You put your 'petal to the metal' and that old girl moved.

My Bernina is Bernie, not very original there.
The newer Pfaff is Jean Luc, after Star Trek bald guy.
    Real old Pfaff is Hazel.
The Dodge Nitro is called Enterprise, again Star Trek.
Hubby's Dodge V10 is Ben and his black pickup is Mad Jack, after characters in the musical Paint Your Wagon.
The present Microwave oven is called Hanford, after the nuclear plant here in WA. It wastes no time in warming up food.
My son named my seam ripper, Jack. Think about it.

Oh! I just came up with the name for my embroidery machine!!

It's a Brother pe-780d -- Her name is "Daisy" as in Driving Miss Daisy. The shop where I bought her is two hours away -- and as far as I can find, the closest "authorized" brother place.

Daisy it is! Now to name her little (but older) sister...
