Wow, if my kitchen looked that good, I might be a better cook.

I agree granite is pretty but not practical. Give me Silestone or the other one any day.

Your kitchen is beautiful. I want mine to look just like that.

Thanks everyone. Actually one of the best things about my kitchen is that the island is a great cutting table. It's a bit high for me (I'm short) but I make it work. ;-)

Wow, I love your kitchen! Islands are really nice too, you can't have too much counter space.

Quartz is a good counter top. Nice kitchen.

Having pulled pork with golden sauce here.

I agree, the quartz countertops are beautiful. There are quite a few new solid surface countertops available these days...and they are maintenance free, unlike granite. I've seen some that combine recycled glass and quartz that are so pretty.

By the way, my husband brought dinner home last night from our favorite Italian restaurant...so the kitchen is still clean!

I can only wish mine kitchen looked like that! Right now it' looks like a bomb went off in there... but in my defense, we are moving in 7 days so cleaning is taking a backseat to all the packing we have to do still.
