    Can she color pictures for you that you can reproduce on fabric and make a quilt???

    Wouldn't Billy's treadle machines be great to have during a storm? If you have enough light to hand sew you would probably have enough to machine sew on one if you wanted, but seems we need something to keep our minds off the storm. I love to do hand embroidery, too.

    Let her choose some fabric and make her a doll quilt. My granddaughter loves to do that. Let her sit on your lap (not easy) while you sew. Have her hand you pins or put them back in the pin cushion, sort scraps by color. Lots to do!!

    Fabulous pictures!! We dont get some of the scary weather you guys get over there!! Lots of rain yes! But not tornados etc!! I do a lot of hand sewing and reading in bad weather though!

    You'all have had some really terrible weather there for sure. I don't have any little munchkins to entertain, so I like to sew or read. If we lose power, it depends on how dark it is. Have you ever played scrabble by candle light? :roll:
