I mostly work in lease renewals.

I am a retired Navy Reservist/stay at home mom. But I am recently divorced and my kids are grown so I had to go back to work. I now build C-130's and I am loving it. I have been with Lockheed for 1 year now so I have many years left to go before I can retire. But I have very little time for quilting. :( So,I quilt when I can!

It is so nice to learn more about each of you. I have been divorced for far too many years to count. So far, I think I am the only one who is medically-retired.I was trained as an EMT/Firefighter and supervisor for 35 people in my County Fire/Rescue. I also taught CPR and First Aid and was the site coordinator for each. After being infected in 1977 With Hepatitus C from a blood transfusion, the chirrosis had advanced to the point that I could no longer work. Two and a half years ago I had a liver transplant and have been feeling great ever since. This was my second chance at life and I take this time left in my life very seriously. I have two daughters, four granddaughters who I call my six Angels. Without them and my faith, I would have never made it. Since I have lots of time on my hands, I do what I want to do, which includes lots of sewing and crafting. Of course, I spend lots of time on the QB.

I am a Systems Technician (in other words "computer geek") for an inbound customer service center. I am one of 6 people who keep the computers up and running for our department of approximately 150 people (in 3 locations). In our spare time, we also manage all of the online information and reporting databases for the department.

I love it, but it tends to get in the way of my quilting time.
