Insurance Underwriter for personal lines for 10yrs.
Then I married and had the most important job in the world: A full time mother!
We are retired now and enjoying it. I do volunteer work and am the The Treasurer for our church.

I was fortunate to be able to stay at home with my Children for 20 years. DH was active duty Navy and we moved a lot and he was gone a lot. I had to go to work when he retired from the Navy and went to Seminary. He is now a pastor at our church and I have been working outside the home for just over 9 years. I would love to quit any time........

I am a recently retired special ed teacher. I am now an occassional secondary teacher teaching Family Studies (it's a good day when they pay you to teach sewing!), Special Ed, English and Credit Recovery. I'm also a part time minister and do short term placements and many Sunday services. Most weeks, I also teach at least one quilting class. Every spring I deliver seed potatoes all over the countryside for our family farm. Life is definately not boring!

I am retired 1 1/2 years from USPS as a letter carrier for 33 years. I am now a stay at home mom of a 14 year old. My other 2 children are grown and I have 3 grandkids. -- I have 3 passions - sewing/quilting, woodworking, and gardening.

I started out as a hospital pharmacist in the UK. Have worked in several different areas over here - research and development engineer, materials scientist, analytical and plating chemist, opto-electronics, QA, yield enhancement. Unfortunately, I have been unemployed for the past few years. I also have the MBA that one of my former employers paid for just before laying me off, lol.

I am an early retiree, 50 years old, now work on our family farm and watch two of my grandchildren during the day. I retired as a community educator where I worked with low income families teaching, nutrition, parenting and financial management. I to loved my job, however I do not miss the funding issues associated with state budgets! My hobbies include, sewing, reading and raising French Lops (this was a hobby my son and I shared). His favorite were the chin colored rabbits, hence my screen name Tulip. That was his favorite doe, she's an old girl now, but gets the job done on the show tables. lol

I have had many jobs.. I have been a bus driver, teacher, maid, cook, nurse, doctor, referee, error girl, babysitter, barber, and many more that I can’t remember right now. They call this job “Mom “
